The Beijing Office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP - a US based international law firm with a strong China practice- is currently seeking to hire a long-term part-time legal intern among the LLM students of Peking University Law School to work closely with several US and China qualified legal professionals.:

Candidate Qualifications:
1. work approximately 20 hours a week but occasionally may work more hours if workload requires;
2.have strong academic records with a focus on either civil and business laws, economics laws or international economics laws (outstanding candidates with other academic focus can also be considered). ;
3.have excellent research and writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate in both Chinese and English;
4.Prior internship experience with PRC law firms ; and
5.Strong desire to thrive in a multi-cultural professional environment.

This internship program offers an ideal opportunity for suitable candidates to obtain work experience with a global law firm. Reasonable compensation will be provided monthly throughout the Internship.
